Heston Drop
Heston Drop, an Australian, Adelaide based rock band with a pop edge.
After six months and a growing catalogue of original material, the band was finally christened 'HESTON DROP', this name being an obscure and creative reference to Jimmy Page's birthplace. At this time Frank Vardaro undertook the role of manager, with determination and a passion. Heston Drop embarked on their journey through the beautiful chaos of the musical world. Through this, their sound and style began to evolve.
The studio beckoned and the band kicked off recording three songs, 'Shining Light', 'Calling' and 'One Way Street'. These songs were entered into the APRA Professional Development Awards, which saw them make the finals in Sydney. Industry buzz started to grow louder and it seemed only a matter of time until the band would make another leap forward. |
