Recently Mark has been inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame. Mark is one of the most recorded and travelled Australian drummers of the last 35 years. He has recorded in the vicinity of 400 albums here and in America, both as a session drummer and a band member of: Stylus (signed to Motown in America), Marcia Hines Band, Richard Clapton Band, Jenny Morris, Divinyls, Mark Gillespie, Wendy Mathews, Dave Dobbyn, Moving Pictures (EMI Australia/Capitol America), and Grammy winners Keith Urban and Trisha Yearwood (to name a few). He recorded at Sound City, Van Nuys and The Record Plant LA for the original Footloose Movie Soundtrack.
A foray into the Australian country scene saw him record and tour with a plethora of country acts these include James Blundel, Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar Daley, Gina Jefferies, Lyn Bowtell, Felicity Urquart, and many more. These days Mark regularly returns to Sydney to launch tours with his own bands "Moving Pictures" and iconic blues and roots band "Chasin The Train". At home in Adelaide he works as a freelance player with many local and touring acts including running The Gail Page Band and showcasing his own songs with his band "The Fallen Saints”.
